There is no such accomplishment for a scholar that can compare to the completion of a thesis. It is the culmination of years of hard work, research, and intellectual effort. But without proper publication of a thesis, it does not represent true academic achievement as it will not become an authentic academic contribution. A perfectly published thesis elevates an individual scholar's academic credibility and increases the visibility of his/her research on the world academic stage. Many researchers unfortunately fail not due to weakness in the topic or method, but for their failure to consider fundamental elements of the publication process, such as: correct formatting, selection of suitable journal, ethical issues involved in publication, correct submission process etc.

In today's fiercely competitive academic environment, it is imperative to ensure one's research is widely recognized using platforms such as Google Scholar, and one must consider every tiny detail that may prevent one from having his/her research accepted and being remembered. This applies to every stage of publication, right from the choice of the appropriate research platform to a thoroughly error-free article submitted with appropriate research methodology. Therefore, there is a necessity to adopt a systematic, planned, and meticulously crafted research publication plan rather than a rushed and erroneous approach toward it.

One needs to publish in an appropriate journal that is relevant to the research topic (research into relevant journals can take many hours). Rejection during peer review processes, although a normal part of research publication, may be minimised through appropriate research plans and careful manuscript writing. Ethical requirements, including the adequate handling and reporting of research data and any potential conflicts of interest, must be adhered to at all times. Software tools can aid the process; Grammarly, for instance, can help researchers to eliminate grammatical mistakes and errors while a tool like Zotero or Mendeley can assist them in referencing. Acceptance into research articles may not be successful at the first instance, as rejection is quite normal in research publication and scientists should persist until they find appropriate venues for publication. Post-publication, researchers should ensure their research receives good exposure through research platforms, conferences and an up-to-date academic website, while establishing a clear research agenda can guarantee the researcher further academic development. In conclusion, in order to make a thesis into an accurate and authentic contribution, it is essential to consider each detail in its publication, ranging from conceptualization to post-publication.
