Introduction: Thesis Completion to Perfect Publication.

It's a momentous step in an academic journey. A thesis, the culmination of years of hard work, research and dedication, has finally been finished. But a thesis is simply not complete until it is converted into a publishable format. It is not simply research that is sent off for approval but it needs to be polished and error-free for it to make an impact and gain academic recognition. Often, research is not unsuccessful because the work itself is inferior, but because certain aspects, like formatting, journal submission guidelines and the submission process, are overlooked.

In today's fiercely competitive academic world with online databases like Google Scholar and institutional repositories enabling wider research accessibility, the importance of a research's discoverability has amplified. It is not only imperative to create excellent research, but also to have it viewed and cited in academic circles. Any structural, linguistic or citation-related inconsistencies can thus not only affect acceptances and publications but also its academic reputation and the author's reputation. Publication requires a diligent, detailed and strategic approach rather than just a simple submission.

A publication strategy is the first prerequisite of a perfect publication. It entails determining the publication target: would the thesis itself become a book or manuscript for a journal or an article for an online repository? It is upon this strategy that the structure of the thesis is changed and refined in accordance with the aims and objectives of the journal/book/repository for which it is being prepared. After a strategy has been formulated, a thesis can be translated into a publishable manuscript by extracting from its different sections, its key findings, transforming them into individual research papers.

It is also vital to update the literature and validate the research framework. Revisiting and update the reference section; identifying the gap in research; and linking one's own findings and discussion with those available in other researches. Validating the research framework is important so that the methodology can be reiterated and supported for peer review.

It is crucial that the thesis follows the generally accepted structure that a manuscript must include: title, abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion and bibliography. Of these the title and abstract are the most important in increasing the journal's reach and searchability and in making the researcher known, a detailed and precisely crafted abstract increases searchability of any journal within an academic database.

Plagiarism needs to be scrupulously avoided by means of paraphrasing, proper citations and using plagiarism-checking software. References should be formatted consistently according to academic conventions such as the APA style, MLA style or Harvard style, etc. Language must always be clear, concise and professional.

An editor's or proofreader's job of checking for any linguistic and grammatical errors can enhance the manuscript greatly. Identifying the suitable journal is equally important for publication based on its scope, the nature of its readership, the impact factor and citation index, acceptance rate and the time of publication, followed closely by adhering to submission guidelines precisely to avoid automatic rejection.

The researcher should be able to address and use the feedback that is provided after the review process in a professional manner and also use it for revision. Ethical considerations are very important; researchers must adhere to them, maintaining a balance between their integrity and commitment. While digital tools are useful to help the researcher and simplify work, they should never be used as a replacement for one's own critical thought.

Research and publication go hand in hand, and if rejection is encountered, it should not discourage the researcher from being persistent. Building a research network and career vision are crucial, ultimately culminating in a valuable publication that can make a contribution to academic literature.
